Hillary Walter is the Crowned Athlete of the Month for June! Hillary has quickly become immersed in the CrossFit lifestyle. She is consistent, motivated and excited to learn new things, while constantly improving her current strengths. We are so glad Hillary walked through our doors and gave this sport a shot. No doubt she’ll still be at it in years to come! Congratulations and we look forward to watching you grow as a Crowned Athlete!
Give Us Your Story:
I grew up playing sports and being active in my younger years. Took a hiatus from exercise for a while and then got into circuit training. After 3 years of not seeing much progress and a push from my nutrition coaches I signed up for CrossFit. I was terrified to try CrossFit, as I knew there would be things I wouldn’t be able to do. Little did I know my biggest regret would be not trying it sooner. In just the short time I’ve been a member I am the strongest I’ve ever been and am so excited to see that continue. Being at CrossFit Crowned was everything I needed and more. Everyone at Crowned has been so supportive and welcoming! CrossFit is so much more than just physical exercise, it has pushed me mentally as well. I can honestly say this will be my forever sport!

Advice For Someone New Or Considering Trying CrossFit:
Absolutely try it! It’s a wonderful community and ANYONE can do it!
What is your favorite movement in CrossFit:
Clean and jerk, squats, really anything with the barbell!
